I attended the first ever Washington Spirit (home) game against the Orlando Pride (away). The June, 18 game honored the 49 victims from the Orlando shooting. The Spirit defeated the Pride 2-0, with goals from Estefania Banini (9') and Francisca Ordega (40'). The match was held on Washington Spirit's home field, the Maryland SoccerPlex.
